SSWC Week of July 23

Alrighty Scribblers,

Shamelessly recycling last weeks assignment since no one (including me) did it.

Write a short narrative, you may NOT describe the central character only their situation, surroundings, and actions. You may not even tell us their name, use pronouns only to reference them. You can however be clever with this, by hinting and inferring details about the protagonist through their actions etc.

SSWC Week of July 9

Trying something new this week, giving you some pretty strict boundaries, rather the opposite of last week.

You must describe your favorite meal, but you can only use two of your five senses.

Rules: You may write prose or verse, as long or short as you like, deadline is noon Saturday. You can either email them to me or post them yourselves as comments on this post. Remember to sign off with the correct format (e.g. Mr. Derek J.).

Happy Writing!

SSWC Week of July 1

Another week is upon us here at the Sanctified Scribblers Writing Club.

Your assignment this week is minimalist. You only get one word: earth

Can be poem, verse, or prose, as long or as short as you choose.

Deadline is noon Saturday, I will post them as comments on this as they come in.

Happy Writing!

SSWC Week of June 25

Here are the first four entries for the Sanctified Scribblers Writing Club (name might change if anyone thinks up a better one). I hope this serves two purposes, giving potential writers a better idea of what we are about, and perhaps motivate those who are unsure of joining, to jump on board.

As I receive more entries I will add them as comments to this post. Happy Writing!
